It’s been a mega year for Trulawn. We’ve cut countless samples and laid our grass in thousands of properties over the course of twelve months. But we’ve also been a part of some pretty special events. Take a look at some of our biggest and most read stories of this year…

BMW PGA Championships

We spent the week at Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship, providing our grass for the exclusive Championship Pavillion Terrace as well as exhibiting to all the tournament visitors. The Terrace overlooked the 18th green and played host to a number of celebrities! We had a great time showing off our putting greens as well as enjoying some professional golf.

Downside Primary School

Our largest ever project took place during the summer at Downside Primary School in Luton, with over 7500sqm of Trulawn Luxury grass laid down on the playing field and surrounding play areas. We were featured on the ProLandscaper website, where you can read all about the challenges Team Leader Johnny faced and just how long a roll of grass can be!

Harrogate Flower Show

Our grass was included in Lorna Batchelor’s show garden installed by one of our regional partners Yorkshire GroundForce. The garden went on to win a Gold Award. It was a great moment for them and we were proud to play a part in the win.

Twickenham Stadium

One of the biggest sporting events of the year was watched by millions, with millions of fans attending the Rugby World Cup across the country. Twickenham stadium was flagship stadium of the tournament and we gave the hospitality areas a bit of a spruce up. Laying over 3500sqm of grass at the entrance of the grounds, and around the Champions Terrace and Pavillion.
