Trulawn Grass of the Year 2023

It’s the end of the year and it’s once again time to reveal our grass of the year for 2023! We’ve based these results on the square meterage of grass purchased across our installation and trade departments, with number one being the most amount of grass sold this year. We introduced a number of new grasses in the middle of 2022 so read on to find out if any of them have made their way into the top three.

3. Trulawn Prestige

Prestige comes in at number three because of its appeal for community spaces. We see it chosen over and over again for large projects where the brief requires a surface that looks natural, provides obvious durability, but fits well within a tight budget. Whether for a back garden or sports pitch, Prestige is highly versatile.

2. Trulawn Divine

Introduced in 2022, Divine has fast become one of the most popular grasses in our range. For those looking for extra length and thickness to their grass, Divine is an obvious choice. At 42mm, it’s one of our longer grasses and as you can see it can be used to great effect for both front and back lawns as well as putting green fringe.

1. Trulawn Supreme!

For the third year in a row, Supreme reigns Supreme as our customer favourite! Supreme is made to feel super soft which makes it a popular choice for families with young children. It’s also got a deep green colour that is close to the look of freshly grown grass. If Spring is your favourite time of year, this is the ideal grass for you! Whilst you can use Supreme in any kind of garden, we think it looks best in contemporary designs that features light or neutral coloured paving or stone.

Honourable mention… Trulawn Truputt

An honourable mention goes out to our golf grass Trulawn Truputt which has grown in popularity this year. It has a much lighter colour than our classic golf grass Proputt and is great for brightening up small spaces.
