Prep meals in advance

This is the latest trend in lifestyle management, and is an easy way of sorting out breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one go. The easiest way is to do a weeks worth of lunches or dinners in one go by cooling one large meal and spreading it over boxes. Pop them in the frige and grab them when you need them.

Buy things in bulk

There are some things you will always need, and always run out of so it’s a good idea to buy in bulk so you don’t have to keep popping out for a top up. It’s not necessarily good for meat or vegetables but can be a time saver for those other necessities like toilet paper and soap.

Keep a list

How much time do you waste trying to remember things? Organise your life by keeping a list and checking it off. This is useful for work, school and at home but the key thing is to keep a notebook nearby. Or in this technological age, use your smart phone.

Record your TV

Rather than vegging out on the couch for hours, select the programs you want to watch in advance and record them. That way you can whizz through the adverts and only spend the program’s length watching TV, not the whole evening.

Keep an eye on the weather

If you know in advance that there’s going to frost the next morning chances are you’re going to have to de-ice the car or whip out the woolly hat. Both of these things can make you late, and you’ll be catching up for the rest of the day. It’s the same if it starts pouring it down and you don’t have an umbrella.

Get some sleep

You might be taking a long time to do a task because you’re tired. Sleep is very important to your body and exhaustion can dramatically reduce your concentration and efficiency. Make sure you get your beauty sleep!
