Here are some practical, some quirky and some downright ridiculous ideas for what to do with your sample now that you’ve had your lawn installed.
Keep it as a reminder of your grass (just in case you want some more and can’t remember)
If you want to match your front to your back garden, if your friend asks you which grass you chose, if you ever need to replace a piece of the grass becuase you accidentally damaged it, having a small reminder can make life a lot easier.
Quirky coaster
Why have a coaster just like everyone else when you could have one made of grass? If you’re handy with a blade you can even cut them into the traditional circular shape. They’ll definitely be a conversation starter next time you have friends over with the question ‘Why have you got grass coasters?’ probably most common.
Pet gym
Do you have a small pet that you treat like a king? Why not use your sample to create a ‘gym’ area for your animal? Animals like to look and feel good too you know, don’t be a glory hog!
Use it for shoulder pads and bring back the eighties!
Didn’t I say some of the ideas were ridiculous? If you’re feeling self conscious about your shoulders why not sew in some artificial grass into your clothes? Trulawn Supreme has a lengthy 37mm pile height after all!

Incorporate your samples into an art project, and give it a suitably long and waffley title. Bonus points if you include the words ‘commercialism’ and ‘suburbia’.
Create a miniature Bag End!
If you’re a big fan of Lord of the Rings, why not make a miniature version of Bilbo Baggins’ home? Make yours the most realistic hobbit hole, the one hobbit hole to rule them all!… What do you mean what’s the point?
