Trulawn were happy to help out with a local children’s event.

We donated our Trulawn Luxury grass for a very special sort of festival, a bug festival!

RCS Services is a community organisation, working in Hampshire, that offers support and activities for families and children of all abilities, as well as providing necessary resources for parents and educational opportunities for adults. They planned to create a Bugfest in honour of Love Parks Week to be displayed in the Basingstoke Discovery Centre and came to Trulawn to see if we could add that little bit extra to their exhibition.

The colourful insects were all created by local children as part of their activity sessions. As you can see the children have gone to a lot of effort colouring and decorating their bugs and we think the whole display looks fantastic! You can visit Bugfest until the 19th August 2016, so if you’re in the Discovery Centre, make sure to check it out!

Our grass will be repurposed as a sensory tool.

The great news is, after the exhibition has finished, RCS Services have decided that they will reuse our artificial grass as a sensory stimulation tool for children with additional needs to play with and use as part of some of their sessions. We’re delighted to hear our grass is going to be repurposed in such a worthwhile way, and will hopefully create a lot of joy for children in the local area.
