Transforming the waterlogged grass at a school

Trulawn Norwich transformed the waterlogged grass at John Grant Primary school so that the children could enjoy their outdoor area.

The before images show just how much of a problem the drainage was for this grass, making it completely unusable for the kids to safely play on. Rain is a common occurrence in Britain so it meant that the play area was often unavailable.

To solve these issues the school chose our artificial grass which is installed with a sub-base made up of porous materials that allows water to drain from the surface. For such severe drainage issues a soakaway was also built into the corner where the worst problems existed.
