Plenty of schools have grounds that consist entirely of concrete or tarmac surfacing. This is certainly a low cost investment, but hardly attractive to look at, or enjoyable for children to play on throughout their school years. Our latest Birmingham school grass installation has created the perfect alternative surface for the kids to enjoy!

Trulawn offer an alternative that doesn’t require removing all that concrete and potentially disrupting school life for an extensive period of time.

We call it ‘lay only’ and it’s almost as simple as it sounds!

We lay the grass on top of the concrete and secure it down so that it stays where it’s supposed to.

We also install a rubber edging around the perimeter to ensure that there is a safe transition as the children are crossing between two different surfaces.

As you can see, laying this grass has almost completely transformed this school and provided a much needed softer area for the children to play on.
