Children learn as much in the playground as they do in the classroom, so it’s important to incorporate different textures and colours into outdoor early learning environments to keep children engaged whilst at school, which is why a fake grass school playground is the perfect choice.

Our team have installed 160sqm of Trulawn Luxury at this school in Kensington to improve the outdoor experience of their pupils. Their existing surface was wet pour, and our grass was easily installed on top of this to limit any costly excavation.

Our team have also installed rubber edging along the front edge of the installation to ease the transition between surfaces. This is a useful safety feature for areas where you are installing on top of an existing surface like a playground. As our grasses are luxuriously dense, it’s important to limit the chance of any tripping as pupils cross from one part of the play area to another.

For inner-city or urban area schools our grass is a great way to transform hard surfacing areas without large maintenance bill to match.
