Large luxury back garden
This was a lovely large back garden grass installation in Wimbledon with over 320m² of Trulawn Luxury laid. Something this size takes a few days to install because we have a fair few steps in our method to ensure that the lawn lasts as long as possible.
After the digging up the old turf, the whole of the perimeter has to be edged. A layer of aggregate is compacted followed by a layer of sharp sand that is also compacted, making sure that it is flat underneath the grass. This is then topped off by a weed membrane which if fixed over the entire area. The grass is then laid over the top and cut to fit the shape of the lawn, with pieces carefully joined together.
