Kings Furlong Junior School

We installed both Trulawn Supreme and one of our colourful hopscotch snake and blocks at this school in Basingstoke to create a vibrant outdoor experience for their pupils.

Originally this school had existing artificial grass around their play fort, and they requested that their new artificial grass be installed around this older piece. Whilst this is certainly an option, if you install a new piece next to an old piece (and of different grasses) you have to accept that the installation is going to be obvious where the old meets the new.

We believe in only offering the best in solutions for our customers, we want you to be proud of your installation when it’s finished. Our surveyors work closely with our installation departments to ensure that we employ the ways and means to create a lawn that will last the test of time. We recommended that the whole of the area is re-surfaced to ensure that the ground works are consistent underneath and that all of the cuts and joins are even.

Along with the Trulawn Supreme we also installed our hopscotch snake and block. These are available to purchase as shapes which simply have to be joined with the traditional lawn. We say simply, in the wrong hands you can create quite a mess! Our teams have over 11 years experience with laying grass and cutting in all sorts of shapes.
