Front lawn and driveway
People often forget about front gardens but artificial grass is perfect for keeping it looking tidy, whilst saving yourself a lot of hassle in maintenance. This can be especially true if the lawn curves around the driveway, making it difficult to mow.
This garden in New Milton had a utility pole on the street with a wire landing inside the driveway. The team redirected the front lawn to extend out so that the wire would be included in the lawn and not in the gravel. This involved digging out a slightly larger area, removing the existing bricks and laying them in an extended curve. The bricks all the way around the edge were secured with cement to make sure the base stayed stable.
As you can see the overall driveway looks much neater, and stepping back it’s actually quite difficult to tell that it’s fake. The area around the wire won’t cause any problems because the grass will not become overgrown. The lawn will only really need brushing to keep the leaves off and the pile vertical.
Iris was really pleased with the results, ‘The guys were great and my lawn is FAN-TAS-TIC. So thrilled with how my garden looks.’
