Keeping your trampoline area green

Lots of properties in London suffer from overhanging trees so much so that the grass stops growing and areas become dirt rather than lawn. This property from Wimbledon had this problem so they chose to reinvigorate the back half of their lawn, and specifically the area around a sunken trampoline with Trulawn artificial grass.

In shady areas like this, artificial grass can be a better option than replacing the area with natural turf because it is guaranteed to look good for many years to come whereas natural turf can be unpredictable in its lifespan. It is also a softer option for kids to use with an even layer of artificial grass being softer to walk on than hard dirt.

It was also important for the family that the area be close to the colour of real grass and they chose Trulawn Continental which has a dark and lime green blend as well as a realistic tan and brown thatch. It has a 10 year no fade guarantee against UV rays and is made from 100% polyethylene, a material that has great bounce back ability.

We retired Continental from our range in 2021 so make sure to check out our other products  for an up to date look at our grasses.
