Daily exercise track at St Edmund Campion RC Primary School

St Edmund Campion RC Primary School wanted to fully embrace a daily exercise initiative and improve the health and well-being of their pupils by introducing an Artificial Grass  Exercise track to their field.

This track is a dedicated area for the children to run or walk around to ensure they get fresh air and exercise every day of the week.

The school chose artificial grass for this project because it is more durable than standard grass so will be able to withstand the high levels of footfall received on a daily basis.

We’ve used Trulawn Multi-Sport for this project, a grass specific for use in an exercise environment. This is different from a domestic grass as it doesn’t have a realistic thatch to look more authentic and keep the blades upright. We’ve added some sand in-fill to the top of the grass to give the blades that extra bit of stability against this constant use. Trulawn Trail is a good choice if you want to limit the need for any in-fill as this has tightly coiled blades, but at a shorter pile height.

We love that the the school chose the bold red colour of our Trulawn Multi-Sport to show their commitment to the initiative offering a path that is fun and easy to follow for all students.
