Trulawn artificial lawn in Selfridges

We were delighted when high end outdoor furniture company, Indian Ocean, recently asked us to install Trulawn Luxury artificial lawn as the backdrop to their Selfridges concession. Not only is Selfridges our favourite department store (and also voted the best department store in the world), but we’ve all been hooked on the ultimate Sunday night viewing – Mr Selfridge – for the last couple of months. So are loving all things Selfridges at the mo!

Indian Ocean was established 23 years ago in 1990 and they specialise in premium quality, design led outdoor furniture. They approached us as they wanted to create a village green feel as part of their beautifully designed concession, which is situated on the fourth floor of Selfridges.

Our installation dream team aka Ritchie, Jonny and Terry went along on a Sunday evening (sadly having to miss that night’s episode of Mr Selfridge!), when the department store was closed to install the artificial grass. The installation was a success (apart from the bit when the team got slightly lost in the maze of lifts trying to find the right floor) and the results look great.

The team finished the installation in the early hours and were back up again at 6.30am, the following morning ready, for another week of bringing fake grass to people.
