Artificial putting green and lawn combo

Want to give yourself a little treat but not lose the ability to enjoy a traditional lawn, how about an artificial putting green and lawn combination? These is a great way to incorporate your hobbies into your garden whilst maintaining a space that the whole family can enjoy.

This project was completed with our Proputt putting green grass with a Pooch fringe or, in this case, a general lawn. Pooch is a great option if you have a family pet, as this grass has a thicker durable blade and backing that makes drainage easier.

If you’re considering a personal putting green but don’t want it to take up the whole lawn, we recommend creating an enclosed lawn area such as with sleepers. Or you could cover the whole area with artificial grass instead. These make managing the space much easier as you don’t have any natural grass butting up against artificial.
