Artificial lawn in Durham
This artificial lawn in Durham was the solution to a mole problem for these garden owners. They were tired of having their lawn churned up by the little creatures, with big mole hills making it more difficult to use the lawn for pleasure.
As part of our installations we use a stabilisation membrane, a layer of aggregate and a layer of grano dust to create the draining base. This can be up to 10cm deep, so not a great deal in the grand scheme of things but it can be enough to deter a mole. Moles travel up to 70cm below the surface so a good two feet lower than a garden.
This installation was completed by Trulawn Darlington with Trulawn Supreme, one of our longer grasses. If you’re interested in getting a quote for an artificial lawn in Durham or in the surrounding area then get in touch!
