Artificial grass over rubber mulch transformation

Trulawn Cheshire have laid artificial grass over rubber mulch to completely transform the outdoor area at Church Eaton Primary in Stafford!

You may not be aware but you don’t always have to remove the existing surface before laying artificial grass. If it is a hard concrete or rubber mulch area like this you can lay directly on top. As long as it is good condition of course! Make sure that there is no degradation of the area, and that the drainage is good before proceeding to lay artificial grass on top.

Rubber mulch is traditionally quite a bouncy surface which is great for children, but in a grey or black colour it’s not the most exciting! With artificial grass on top, the area becomes much more vibrant.  As you can see it’s extremely close to the colour of natural grass, and feels just like it too! You can see more installations of this type by viewing our Portfolio section along with lots of other projects.

Trulawn Cheshire managed to lay all 180sqm of this Trulawn Prestige in a day so it can be a fairly quick turnaround on a project like this. Get in touch if you’d like to discuss a similar artificial grass over rubber mulch project at your school.
