A proper putting challenge
The owner of this garden has made himself a real challenge in the form of a personal putting green…
We love how he’s made use of all the different spaces in his garden. In some respects the more unusual the shape of the garden, the more interesting the practice!
In order to make a more authentic putting green experience we recommend not flattening the ground completely. Instead, use some of the natural camber of the existing ground. This means the ball will have more resistance and give yourself more of a challenge when it comes to putting.
You may also like to include a fringe with your installation so that you can practice your chipping skills. This is also a good option for those who would like to keep the body of their lawn for leisure and only part for a putting green. We create bespoke putting greens so if that’s not for you, no problem!
