Missed out on going to Chelsea? Probably won’t make it to Hampton Court? Never fear there are plenty of other places to get your summer garden inspiration this year. Check out the best places to find quality exhibitors, amazing show gardens and the most incredible grounds…

RHS Flower Show Tatton Park (20th – 24th July)

This is large scale RHS event so you know it’s going to have the best of exhibitors and designers. There’s a fresher, more innovative identity than the other shows, take the onsite Vineyard for example!

Southport Flower Show (18th – 21st August)

There’s lots to see and do in Southport alongside the floral arrangements and show gardens. This year there is a Mediterranean theme which will no doubt be reflected in the exhibitors and food available. There’s also a special Ladies’ Day, a great day for putting on your best frock or suit.

Woburn Abbey Evening Parkland & Garden Tours (6th July – 10th August)

Woburn Abbey has a Flower Show in June but it’s actually the guided tours that provide a real experience. Travel round with the staff at Woburn traversing the parkland, visit areas of the ground that are not accessible to the public, and even get the behind the scenes advice by one the ground’s gardeners. A great way to spend a summer evening!

Wisley Flower Show (6th – 11th September)

Wisley is the perfect place for fans of Dahlias, with a massive display by the National Dahlia Association available to view across the six day event. Medal winners from both Chelsea and Hampton Court flower will be exhibiting to it’s a good way to find the best quality flowers on offer, whilst also somewhere the whole family can enjoy.

London Flower Show (8th – 11th September)

Tickets are just £10 for the inaugural London Flower Show. Whilst it’s hard to know exactly what to expect being the first one, it could become a great alternative to the other big London flower shows. Held in the wonderful Osterley Park in Middlesex, the location alone should offer up plenty of inspiration.

Harrogate Autumn Flower Show (16th – 18th September)

We sponsored a garden constructed by our Trulawn installer in Harrogate Yorkshire Groundforce at last year’s event which went on to win a Gold medal. Our grass was featured again in Lorna Batchelor’s design at the Spring show, who won another Gold medal! It’s a really great place to get inspiration and meet the local men and woman able to transform your garden.

And if you’re looking for some more artificial grass orientated inspiration why not take a look at our gallery pages? There are hundreds of entries broken down into grass and application, with gardens of every shape and size!
