Whilst it’s cold and grey outside it’s a great opportunity to start thinking about your home and garden plans for next year. We’re all about re-invention here at Trulawn, with artificial grass being a super option for those who want to give their lawns a makeover. There are a variety of shows and exhibitions to visit for inspiration, so whether you want to have something built or are looking for the perfect rose to pot there’s plenty on offer. Take a look at some of the events for next year…

Ideal Home Show 18th March – 3rd April

This one has a bit of everything with home decorating inspiration, garden, cookware and fashion all on offer. It’s an accessible show with something for everyone.

Grand Designs Live 30th April – 8th May

If you’re a fan of the show then you’ll enjoy the exhibition and are guaranteed to spot Kevin McCloud who does frequent talks. There’s definitely a self-build slant so if you’re interested in renovation this one if for you, but if you’re just looking for innovative products this could also be of interest.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show 24th– 28th May

This is one of the most famous horticultural events in the world and has a very sophisticated air, with visiting royalty always a big draw. The show gardens are the main event with some of the industry’s biggest names winning medals for traditional and conceptual gardens. It’s very popular so it can be a bit hectic getting around but it’s one of the best places to see incredible designs from all over the world.

Gardeners World Live 16th-19th June

If you love Gardeners World then all your favourite presenters are there to offer advice and with talks and demonstrations. If you buy a ticket you’re also allowed entry into the BBC Good Food Show so there’s somewhere to go and get refreshment afterwards!

Grow London 24th – 26th June

This is a contemporary gardening fair with plants, furniture and tools on offer. It’s a young event all about fun and freshness, and a great place to go if you like boutiques and pop ups.

RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 5th – 10th July

This show really focuses on the plants with huge areas and tents dedicated to flowers. It’s a great place to get some plants to enjoy for the summer or seeds to sow for next year. There’s definitely a more relaxed vibe than at Chelsea with the wonderful grounds of the palace as a backdrop.

Harrogate Autumn Flower Show 16th – 18th September

Harrogate is a great northern show, that proves that gardening and design inspiration isn’t just for spring and summer. We were involved in this year’s show through a wonderful show garden that included our fake grass.
