A Professional Service Everytime

Discover what to expect when our professional installers fit your artifical grass.

Step 1

Our free installation survey will review the existing lawn and work out levels.

Step 2

To kick things off, first the existing lawn surface has to be removed to a depth of 70mm.

Step 3

The entire perimeter is edged using 2x2 tanalised timber to ensure the sub-base material is supported. Cement haunching is used against a patio edge instead of timber.

Step 4

A type 1 limestone is installed to a depth of 40mm.

Step 5

The ground is then compacted using a wacker plate to avoid sinkage and achieve a solid base.

Step 6

25mm layer of sharp sand is added, levelled off and compacted again to ensure a smooth surface.

Step 7

A durable weed membrane is installed to keep weeds from growing.

Step 8

The grass is then carefully rolled into position across the entire area.

Step 9

Perfect seams, joining grasses are lined up and joined with high strength seaming tape.

Step 10

The adhesive is then spread onto the seaming tape to ensure a tight bond.

Step 11

Next, the grass is gently folded down onto the adhesive.

Step 12

The grass is finally secured with small nails to the timber edge around the perimeter of the garden.
