This garden had a dramatic slope with an awkward flat part at the bottom, which was going to waste as it was out of the way from the main garden area. Thankfully this turned out to be the perfect area for an artificial garden golf course installation!
It’s a great example of transforming a previously unusable space into something that can be enjoyed all year round. Patches like this often struggle with drainage, being at the bottom of a slope and surrounded by leaf litter. Our putting greens are installed with a draining base of limestone and sand to help prevent them becoming mossy, boggy or muddy. The readily available golf course means this family can practice their putt all year, without worry about lots of maintenance.
