Moordown St. Johns CE Primary School wanted to transform their original field to an all ball sports artificial grass area that also encompasses a running track for the Daily Mile Initiative.
Due to the large trees surrounding the area the ground was always muddy or very dry and dusty in the summer. These two extremes made the surface unreliable for everyday use, which is essential for a busy school day. Using Trulawn Supreme, a soft non-abrasive, 37mm pile product they now have a large area that can be used all year round for sports and other activities.
Our Blue Trulawn Trail Grass was chosen for the running track as it matches the school colours, perfectly frames the ball sports artificial grass, and has a tightly coiled pile which makes it ideal for high footfall areas such as a running track. At 140sqm, it brought the entire installation to just over 800sqm in total.
