Can you vacuum artificial turf?
ANSWEROn a dry day you can use a power brush or vacuum artificial turf to refresh the look and feel. You don’t need a special synthetic grass vacuum to do this but you may want a more robust outdoor model if your lawn is heavily covered in leaves and twigs. The best tool for cleaning artificial grass would be something that can lift the pile and collect any plant debris as you push, that way you’re doing two jobs in one!
As artificial grass is made of plastic, it’s a lot stronger than natural grass so it can take a proper scrub if you want to give it a deep down clean or mop up any messes. Warm water, washing up liquid or artificial grass cleaner is an easy place to start. If you want to use any stronger detergents or disinfectants, check a small patch of the grass before spreading over the whole lawn.
For a thorough wet clean you can use a jet wash, though any strong force on the lawn may disrupt the sub-base below so be careful how you use it.
