Installing an artificial lawn can be a daunting prospect, which is why we offer an installation service. But we also can supply the grass on its own!
If you’re handy with your tools and confident about installing your own lawn, Trulawn are happy to provide the grass!

Installation method
We have a step by step guide of our installation method which may be useful to you if you’ve never installed before.
The installation is really important to the overall appearance of your lawn so make sure you take your time doing the groundwork. We don’t offer any of the sub-base materials but there are a few essential pieces of kit we do offer to ensure your installation is tip top.
Accessories
Weed membrane
This is vital for helping to prevent weed growth underneath the lawn and providing a protective layer between the sub-base and grass.
Jointing tape
Used to connect two pieces of grass together
Adhesives
Glue for joining and securing comes into two types; as a tub or as a cartridge.
Shockpad underlay
Shock pad is ideal for installing around play equipment to provide cushioning and meet critical fall height standards.

Top Tip: Avoiding a Mohawk
When attaching two pieces of grass together, be careful to avoid placing two stitch lines too closely up against each other as the tufts on the top side will compete for space and you will have a Mohawk like appearance.
It’s best to leave a few millimetres between the two pieces (as if the backing was still there) to make sure you have a clean finish. See below for an example picture.
