Trulawn install artificial grass at RHS Wisley

The RHS contracted artificial grass suppliers Trulawn to lay an artificial lawn on an area of the Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon rose garden created by designer Robert Myers at RHS Wisley in Surrey.
The garden, sponsored by Witan Investment Trust, lies on a natural slope and includes trees, pathways and rose beds with newly-introduced shrubs and herbaceous perennials.
The RHS chose the artificial grass as an authentic-looking and easy-maintenance option for a popular area surrounding the garden’s pavilion. Trulawn excavated and flattened the ground and laid the new fake grass surface on the garden over three days in November last year. Managing director Ian Parry said it was the first time the firm had worked with the RHS.
The astro turf option has been hugely popular since the installation with people commenting on how realistic in appearance it is!
